White Collar Brawlers

The first rule about White Collar Brawlers is you don’t talk about White Collar Brawlers. Well, not really because there is no secret to White Collar Brawlers. And the premise is one that I’m sure has crossed many people’s minds while working and the Esquire Network has turned it into an upcoming television show, which will premier on November 19th. This show allows coworkers to square off in a match and punch each other. There are rules and there’s actually some structure to it. This show will feature six pairs of dueling colleagues as they go through six weeks of training “with some of the best amateur boxing coaches in the country at the famed Gleason’s Gym in Brooklyn, NY and the 3rd Ave. Gym in Pittsburgh, PA.” So by the time they face off they’ll actually know how to fight to some extent and that would be better for all parties involved. Here are the duos:

  • Matthews vs. Lu – Allen is sweet, a little flabby, Paul just ran the marathon. Can underdog Allen’s heart and desire to be manly be enough to taste victory?
  • Civitano vs. Jardine – When two brokers beat each other up, we’re all winners.
  • Morgan vs. Walker – A mentor challenges his former trainee in the ring.
  • Bacchus vs. Hartzog – Best friends fight the hardest. And the dirtiest.
  • Stewart vs. McDowell – Two-car company employees trade the rental counter for the ring.
