The Walking Dead Season 2
The Walking Dead Season 2 is Telltale Game’s sequel to its critically acclaimed episodic Walking Dead series and will feature Clementine as the protagonist this time around. (Spoilers ahead for season 1.) Regardless of your choices, there was still one outcome you couldn’t avoid and that was the death of Lee, and as a result Clementine setting off on her own. However your choices from season 1 will carry over into season 2 according to Telltale Games, and presumably who else lived and died. Not much information has been released other than that, and also that there will be 5 episodes in all with each subsequent episode being released in a 4-6 week interval. There is a teaser trailer now and it evokes the memories of how great season 1 was and also how gut-wrenching the finale was too. I’m not ashamed to admit that I almost got choked up at the end with Lee and Clementine, and that was due to the excellent interactions between the two of them throughout the series. Now it’s Clementine surviving on her own and I think that’s a great approach to season 2 because there are so many threats in this world, as well as a goldmine of potential interactions with people you would come across. This is definitely one game I’ll be playing the first week it’s out.
