The Flash Extended Trailer
If you’ve been watching the TV show Arrow then you’ve been aware for some time of the upcoming spin-off TV series, the Flash, based on DC comics’ superhero, since Barry Allen made a couple of appearances in season 2 and the accident that gave him super powers was shown. However if you’re completely unaware of that you’ll still be blown away by the first Flash extended trailer and its 5+ minutes of electrifying greatness. I’ve been looking forward to seeing this for some time and I wasn’t prepared for how amazing it would look and I must remind you that this is for a TV show since it definitely has the look and feel of a feature film. The premise is true to the comic book as Barry is haunted by the murder of his mother when he was a child right in front of his eyes in a way that he has always been unable to explain nor would anyone believe what he would describe at the time. His father would be accused of the murder even though Barry knew that wasn’t the truth. As a result he joins the police force as a forensic scientist when he gets older and is determined to investigate even the most unusual of crimes. But when an anomaly occurs in Central City, Barry is struck by lightning and covered in all the chemicals in his lab leaving him in a coma for nine months. When he wakes up…well, it’s better to see it for yourself…
