Amazing Spider-man 2 Trailer
The Amazing Spider-man 2 trailer has been released and one thing that is clear is that it’s going to be action-packed. There is a story and it continues with the work of Peter’s parents and his father’s research being used for very dangerous reasons by none other than Oscorp. It’s being run by Harry Osborn Jr, Peter’s friend, and this researched is being used with the belief that it can change the world and allow people to be capable of so much more. All it seems to have done is create a lot of Spider-man’s enemies and there are a lot here. Now it doesn’t make completely clear how many of the villains shown will have a major part and how many will just have an action sequence. Someone like the Rhino, who is in the trailer has had numerous cameos throughout the comics and games without an elaborate backstory or character development. Of course there’s Harry Osborn aka the Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus is shown, Vulture’s wings are shown around 1:14, hints of Scorpion and of course Electro. One of the things always mentioned about Spider-man 3 is that there were too many villains but to me it was about too many major villains handled poorly. Any concern I would have here is that Electro looks sick!! I mean that in a very good way but I say it’s a concern because he definitely has the look of a villain that you want to see a lot of and the action sequence shown at the end of the trailer shows how intense the action can be with Electro. So I’m truly hoping that potential isn’t squandered here to show villains that have appeared in other movies already. But of course I’m optimistic because it looks great and I did enjoy the first Amazing Spider-man outside of him being crippled for the final sequences because of a single bullet. And I’m also glad to see that it still keeps him grounded with trying to balance his personal life (Gwen Stacey) with his huge responsibilities as Spider-man.
