Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Trailer
After numerous complaints, speculation and possibly voodoo dolls cursing Michael Bay we finally have a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles trailer and the first glimpse of them in action. I’ve learned to take complaints about a movie prior to anyone seeing footage with a grain of salt however maybe it was the low expectations that make me feel that this trailer is actually pretty good. The voice over is done by Will Fichtner as Shredder who is telling April O’Neil, played by Megan Fox, how he and her father wanted to create heroes because the city has been plagued by violence and corruption for far too long. So Shredder played a role in the creation of the Ninja Turtles to some extent in this movie and doesn’t sound too pleased with the results. But then again, he is talking to April and in that scene could very well be trying to deceive her to some extent. What is clear is the tone of the movie appears to be dark and that’s probably more reflective of the original comic book series as opposed to the cartoon. And yes there’s some intense action shown in this trailer and if there’s anything that can be certain is there will be some impressive action sequences in this movie. And maybe that’s one of the concerns since Michael Bay’s name is on it but I have enjoyed some of his movies despite feeling things can be overdone at times. However the first Transformers movie is still a really good adaptation and I think most would agree. With that said I’m still somewhat apprehensive about this story wise but I will reserve judgement until I actually see it. Check out the trailer below:
