Tauriel’s Circle of Fate
The latest Hobbit: Kingdoms of Middle-Earth update has added a few new features that will be available in all worlds soon and I’m pretty excited about it. I’m always up for new ways to acquire troops and other crucial items and that’s exactly what Tauriel’s Circle of Fate is. Here’s a quick summary of the new features.
- A new mini game called Tauriel’s Circle of Fate has been added and will reward players with various prizes and troops.
- These troops can’t be trained and can ONLY be won through Tauriel’s Circle of Fate: Stone Giants, Pack Mammoths and Master Rangers.
- Can now hide the chat window in City view
I really like the fact that these troops can only be won through this new mini game because it gives everyone the ability to acquire these troops as opposed to purchasing them. And at the very least you’ll still win some cool items. A new opening screen has been added as well but aside from that the only new feature that currently works for me is the ability to hide the chat screen in the city view. Apparently the other features have rolled out for other worlds according to some forum members, and it will appear next to the moon rune on the screen. As soon as it’s available and I’m able to get a handle on it I’ll be sure to provide more updates. But for now make sure you download the latest update.
UPDATE: I’ve been able to play Tauriel’s Circle of Fate a number of times and I’ve won some really good prizes. The Master Rangers seem to have 96 might from my use of them. If you don’t see the wheel on the side of your screen check the notifications that show beneath your resources bar. There’s a link in one of the messages that leads to Tauriel’s Circle of Fate. However the wheel only shows for a number of hours and you can only spin the wheel if you have a Tauriel’s Token. The goal is to get 5 keys to unlock the grand prize and this of course will take a number of spins in order to finally complete the set. If the countdown timer expires before you can play don’t worry because it’ll be available again in a couple of days. Here are just a couple of screenshots of what I received.
