Aliens vs. Predator: Life and Death #2
-
The good
An entire Predator tribe.
-
The bad
More of a Predator issue than anything
-
The ugly
Defying Ahab
- Total score
There are few things worse than being caught up in a war between Aliens and Predators. Throw in some Engineers and it gets even uglier. But perhaps some help is on the way in Aliens vs. Predator: Life and Death #2. Ahab, whose been fighting by the side of Galgo for sometime has some visitors. The question remains, are they here to help or just another obstacle in the way of our survivors?
The odds of everyone surviving are rapidly decreasing by the issue. Chris’s Queen embryo is the number one priority of the xenomorph horde. They will stop at nothing to secure their future. With an attack looming over the group, a new group of visitors enters the fray. A tribe of Predators has found their way to our survivors and things are about to get interesting yet again.
This issues focus was more on Ahab and the odds facing our survivors. Some good character moments spread about, but that wasn’t a huge necessity. I was always seeing different and new takes on Predator culture, and this was well done throughout the issue.
SUMMARY
While Aliens vs. Predator: Life and Death #2 was not an action-packed extravaganza, this issue was enjoyable. Not much on the Aliens side of things, but the Predator stuff was cool. The stage is now set for what should be an exciting last couple issues.
