Neon Alley Catch Up Service
It was great to receive news this week about the Neon Alley Catch Up Service because I’ve been waiting for this for some time. In case you don’t know, Neon Alley is a 24/7 anime channel available on Xbox 360, PS3 and streaming online. All anime is uncut and dubbed with some anime titles exclusively dubbed on Neon Alley such as Naruto Shippuden, K, and Zetman. There are even uncut dubbed movie premieres with new ones coming all the time. Prior to this change in service, the most you could do was stream live either on your console, PC or Mac, and even though the schedule was readily available with re-airings listed, there was nothing you could do if you missed the show you wanted to see. But that all changes with their new Catch Up service because now you can watch the last 4 episodes of all their shows online whenever you want. And you won’t have to wait long as episodes are available the very next day so you can watch shows at your own convenience. The Catch Up service will be available for Xbox 360 and PS3 soon but if you’re a member you can view episodes online at Neon Alley.
I’ve had Neon Alley for some time now and as an anime fan I don’t know how I got by without it, especially since it’s more useful than many of the channels I currently have. In addition to offering nonstop anime, there’s the occasional throwback live action movie and if you know Kung Fu Theater then you know exactly what I mean by that. And there are great promos and giveaways when movies premiere, and it’s not something that you want to miss. And considering the upgrades to the service the past few months, you can be sure that Neon Alley will only continue to get better. So it’s definitely worth the investment to become a member with the price being half the cost of some other anime services and I’m very satisfied with it.
