First Look: Wrath of the Eternal Warrior #1
With his stature rising as a result of the current Book of Death series, Gilad the Eternal Warrior is poised to be in his own series, Wrath of the Eternal Warrior #1, starting November 18th. However, this series will put him on a completely different world so Earth’s oldest protector will have to face new threats in an environment that is unfamiliar to him. He won’t be alone because he has a family, which is not his immortal brothers but his wife and kids. Yes, life seems to be really good for Gilad but where exactly is he and how did he end up with a family? And what catastrophes await him on this new world? Robert Venditti teams up with Raul Allen to start this major new milestone for the Eternal Warrior in this ONGOING series.
I’ve been thoroughly impressed with Gilad in the Book of Death series so I’m on board with the ongoing monthly series because it’s been shown that he can carry some intriguing story lines. This one has him with a family but apparently he’s haunted by some nightmares. There’s a flashback element to this story but it’s more current than usual as it only takes place a few years earlier but the location or overall situation is unknown. The preview pages below don’t contain any spoilers so don’t hesitate to check out this first look. It seems as if the Book of Death series will have a very interesting and surprising conclusion to it. Either way, I can’t wait to start reading this series.
